After years of trotting along the Atlantic shoreline, creating unforgettable memories with our guests, we’re announcing the well-deserved retirement of our beloved Jen.

At 34 years old, our beloved Jen has officially taken her last beach ride and will now enjoy a peaceful retirement at our ranch, surrounded by familiar friends and wide-open pastures. She’s been a part of the Amelia Island Horseback Riding family for many years and has brought joy to countless riders of all ages. Whether it was a romantic sunset ride, a family vacation memory, or someone’s very first time on a horse, Jen was always gentle, dependable, and full of heart.
More About Our Beloved Jen
We often say our horses are more than just animals — they’re our teammates, our storytellers, and sometimes even our therapists. Jen embodied all of that and more. She’s carried guests down the coastline with grace and spirit, always willing and steady, making even nervous first-time riders feel at ease.
While she won’t be walking the beach anymore, you may still see her around the ranch enjoying her days in the sunshine, munching hay, and soaking up well-earned rest. We invite anyone who has ridden Jen over the years to share a photo or memory on our social media pages. We’d love to celebrate her legacy together.
Thank you, our beloved Jen, for everything — for your loyalty, your strength, and your sweet soul. Enjoy your retirement, beautiful girl. You’ve more than earned it. 💛🐴
